We use a payment processor called Automatic Payment Systems to process all our automatic billing and that is why you will see APS show up on your statement and not S&M Fitness
As per your contract that you signed when joining S&M Fitness that bringing in unauthorized guests into the gym is NOT allowed and your 24/7 access can be revoked. However if you make arrangements with us beforehand and pay for the guests drop-in than some exceptions can be made for bringing a friend in after hours.
We accept cancellations one of 2 ways. We have a form that you can come in and fill out or that we can send to your email to bring in to us. Or you can send us a registered letter stating that you would like to cancel your membership. We will not cancel your membership until we have received one of the above. If you have a payment due within the next 30 days of receiving the cancellation than that will be the last payment due to us and is required to be paid upon cancellation. If you are on a 1 year contract than there is a buyout fee of $20/per each remaining month left on your contract. The contract will not be cancelled until the buyout price has been received. Cancellations are NOT accepted over the phone or answering machine.
Late payments are subject to a $40 NSF (non-sufficient funds) fee. If you contact us a minimum of 24 hours before this payment is due to come out knowing that the payment will bounce we will be willing to work with you on this issue.
I.P.F.A. stands for International Physical Fitness Association. In order to serve our small area better we have joined this association to give those that travel easier access to a gym. What this brings to our members is when they attend another I.P.F.A. affiliated gym is that they do not have to pay any additional fees in order to work out there while they are in the area. One membership/monthly fee = tonnes of gyms to be able to go to!
If you have found that you've accidentally broken or damaged something within the gym than please contact us letting us know who you are, what was damaged, how it happened, the day it was damaged and the approximate time. This saves us from having to check footage and track you down to find out what happened. Please remember if it was broken due to misuse said member is responsible for the amount that is required to fix/replace the damaged item (as per the contract everyone signs).
